Week of May 18th/Final week of Internship

1.Look back to your earliest posts. What were you goals?Did you meet these goals?
The first week of my internship,I hoped I can do more works about the pictures. Finally,I met these goals. My mentor gave a chance to me to make labels of pictures.

2.What are the most important things you've learned?
The most important thing I learn is know what jobs the gallery do everyday. And I get many photography organization skills. For example, use the art system, use the photo shop, use gallery's website to organize the photo.

3. In what ways have your grown as a student/young adult?
I feel I become a mature student when I have worked in gallery for these weeks. I get some ways in doing something from my mentor and other people in the gallery. They are mature and organization. But I feel I still a student when they were teaching me how to do my task.

4.What were the highlights of your internship experience?
I really get the experience about photo organization and the prepare of the art show. I did lots of tasks about labels making, photo matching between the art system and website, and photo shop using. Before the art show, we have many prepare works to do. I did many prepare works for the art show by teaching of my mentor.

5.Describe a memorable moment of experience?
I think every moments are worth for me to remember.
I enjoy work with that people who works in the gallery. That's my memorable moment of experience.

6.What challenges did you overcome?
I felt shy to communicate with people when I was first time work in here. I think this is my biggest problem for my internship. I always feel shy when I am in a strange place, with some strange people, and a group. I know I am not good at communicating with people. Everyone feel that I am a peaceful girl when their first time to see me. Day after the day, I feel more and more comfortable here. I began to talked with the people, and asked questions to them. I feel I am going to overcome my challenge. Finally, I think I am successfully.

7.What advice would you give a new intern at this site?Your answer to this question will be used next year with the upcoming juniors.
I wanna tell every interns that you don't have to be nervous when they are first time to come here and interview. Be relax and take the deep breath, then feel free to talk with mentor and other people who work with you. And you will realize that there are some difference between the school and workplace. And you will be maturer and maturer while you are working in your site.

8.What will you miss about your internship?
I am pretty sure I will miss all the people who worked with me in the gallery. And I will miss the pretty, comfortable site, especially Yvonne's laughing. I will recall my process of internship often. And I will miss once Liam gave a wrong address to me and asked me to picked up something following the address, finally I lost my way.lolz... Many interesting memory... I will miss them all.
